As kids, we’d often go fishing down at the river when it rained as that’s when the fish were biting. Often my sister and I would just sit on the fold up fishing stools and eat the snacks mum packed, while dad did all the work. Sometimes we’d come home with a trout or two.
This artwork remembers those days - the gentle flow of the river, the rain coming down, the ripples on the water and trying to compete with the other fishermen for a good spot.
