Takamuna (meaning to travel/journey) is a piece about our journey, our mountains we’ve crossed, people who have come in and out (or stayed) in our lives. It’s about reaching our end goal and being happy in life.
Acrylic on canvas
MATERIALS: Stretched canvas, acrylic paint, sealed with a matt spray artwork sealer. Framed or unframed.
FRAME: If you’ve chosen to have the artwork framed, please allow at least two weeks for framing, with postage time on top if this. Framed in a matt black wooden float frame.
HANDMADE: Aboriginal artwork is very special. Every artwork tells a story with symbols, dots and line work. I feel a true connection to every piece I paint and a lot of heart and soul go into each painting.
CARE: All artwork is sealed with a matt spray artwork sealer. Be careful not to drop the artwork or sit things on top of it if laying on a table etc. If soiling occurs, very carefully wipe clean with a damp cloth. As the artwork is textured, regular dusting will keep it in its best condition. Do not spray anything on the artwork to clean it. Id cleaning is necessary, use a damp, soft white cloth.
